Raheem Sterling has said goodbye to Manchester City football team after seven season as he prepares to join Chelsea FC.

Sterling posted a three minute video on his Instagram page highlighting just few of the several memories and achievements the footballer has experienced during his time with the team.Sterling was previously playing for Liverpool before moving to the team in a £49m deal. Now, the player will be moving to Chelsea football club in what is being reported as a £50million move.

The footballer has agreed to personal terms on a five-year contract with Chelsea, with the option of a further 12 months.Raheem also issued a statement conforming his exit from Manchester City. He said:"To the coaching staff who have played a massive role in my development over the years. To my teammates who have become more than just those I share a pitch with. To the backroom staff. To the office staff.

To the fans who have tirelessly supported the team. And to everyone involved with Manchester City, my respect for you couldn't be greater.""What a ride it's been. I am thankful for the ups and downs, as it's the downs that have, at times, tested my strength and resolve, and enabled me to stand here in front of you as the best possible version of myself.""I arrived in Manchester a 20-year-old, today I leave as a man. Thank you for your endless support. It's been an honour to wear the shirt of Manchester City."

The footballer shared this emotional message as he prepares to be officially announced as a Chelsea player.

This transfer is expected to be confirmed on Wednesday however Sterling has flown to Los Angeles to join in with Chelsea's pre-season preparations.
