Social Influencer, Victoria Everest, took to Instagram to reveal the death of her mother to her followers. She had been updating her followers every step of the way beforehand, and her mother unfortunately passed away due to Covid-19 on Monday 11th January 2020.

Victoria is known as a positive person who is set on helping other people heal, by spreading positivity within her posts using her platform.

A Resident spoke out and responded to those who questioned her  posting the images of her mother, and said "So to people who are not understanding why she has shared it..she posted it because she wanted prayers and healing for her mum from the beginning..you would have had to have seen the entire process to get why she posted this I guess."

Victoria has received a multitude of supportive messages, which she took to her story to thank everybody, she said:

"From the bottom of my heart, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that reached out and all the support that has been received online. I have 1000's of DM's sharing love and prayers. Thank you to each and every one of you. It means so much to us all. I'm so thankful that all our memories with mum will be cherished. Life is so short, please appreciate the ones closest to you. This has taken us by shock and no family should have to experience this. Please continue to raise awareness in your own communities on how real this pandemic is, unapologetically and prematurely taking lives."

Supporters have also showed their support by donating to the Go Fund Me that Victoria created. This has been put in place to fulfill her Mother's dying wish of being buried in her home of Istanbul, Turkey beside her mother.
