A year after a string of leaked DMs allegedly of Rapper Ducthavelli and a 14-year-old girl exchanging some questionable flirtatious messages, his sister Stefflon Don has finally come forward to defend him.

On an Instagram live session with fans, the singer addresses the allegations saying that the man behind the allegations had mental health issues and was in and out of the hospital.

She proceeded to question why the man hang around Dutch if he knew very well that he was a paedophile.

"He is in a mental hospital, not to use that against him though but the person is mad because he is saying a lot of things that don't make sense", she said.

Breaking down into tears, the 29 year old also revealed that at some point, Dutchavelli went mute on their family and refused to talk to anyone because of the distress he was getting from the allegations.

She added that her family had to go through a lot because they were worried about Dutch's silence; as they thought he would commit suicide.

Ducthavelli's defence

Ducthavelli addressed the allegations around December last year [2020]. He claimed his Instagram was hacked and that his messages with the girl had been altered and edited.

He also went on to say that if the messages were true, he would have already been arrested as police had visited the girl in question's home.

As the allegations began to mount, the girls' mother also posted a statement refuting the allegations.

"Nothing inappropriate has ever taken place between my daughter and Dutchavelli we are always all together in family settings as a group", she said.

"Messages have been deleted and conversations distorted, such as people claiming he was asking to see pictures of my daughter's feet when it was a professional picture of some Chanel shoes on a model's foot. Another photo that is a private family joke that he says they will recreate the S sign being shown was also twisted to fit this evil narrative", she explained.

She concluded by asking the public to stop dragging her daughter's name.

So far no one has been charged and Ducthavelli was cleared of any wrongdoing. He posted images of documents confirming that the case against him in regard to his past accusations of paedophilia had been closed.
