A stylist, who goes by the name of Ricky, has claimed that Nottingham Forest footballer Ateef Konate, 21, has not paid for £4000 worth of clothing. The stylist revealed that he provided limited edition pieces for Ateef back in February but has yet to receive payment.Taking to his Instagram, Ricky wrote:

"Since November 2021 last year, this guy (Ateef Karote) @a.konate_ has been in my DM trying to get me to style him. I eventually got round to doing it by February 2022."He continued: "I did his image consultation through the phone and I suggested a few changes and looks that would help embellish his image. He wanted some limited edition pieces that I had already and the other stuff I had to order them."

Ricky then explained that he went to the footballer's house with all the items and even gave him a discounted price due to it being the first time they were working together.Explaining the payment issue, the stylist wrote: "He wanted to do a bank transfer for all the items and my time. I stood there as he transferred the money, but it still wasn't coming into. my account within a few minutes."

Ricky was then reportedly told by Ateef that the transaction may take an hour to process due to him using his business account."I left and the money never came. He assured me he's calling his bank the next day to solve it," Ricky wrote. "This went on for a few day."I told him I'll collect the items back if they payment still has issues, this is when he informs me that he has ripped all the tags off the clothes!"The stylist then claimed that when he told Ateef that he would have to pay for all the clothes, the footballer avoided his calls.

However, when Ricky threatened that he would expose him, Ateef reportedly said that he would be in England in July and would pay for the items then.Ricky has also said that the footballer has been posting pictures of himself in the unpaid clothes.

The Shade Borough reached out to footballer Ateef, who informed us that he didn't pay for the items because they didn't have labels to begin with and that he wanted to return them but wasn't able since he was travelling.

The footballer also commented that the clothes were worth £1000, instead of £4000, and felt that the stylist was trying to overcharge him. He would go on to state that he plans to pay the stylist for the sum of money he believes is owed.
