Tyson Fury has "finally decided to walk away" from boxing and confirms that he is staying in retirement for good.
Tyson Fury, 34, is currently the undefeated WBC heavyweight champion and has decided to retire after beating Dillian Whyte in April. In July the boxing champion said he would fight Anthony Joshua if certain conditions were met and on Tuesday he urged Derek Chisora to accept his offer of a trilogy bout.
However, on Friday it appears that Fury had changed his mind about continuing his boxing career and would get on Twitter to express his views. He stated: "On my 34th birthday I say bon voyage"
"Massive thanks to everyone who had an input in my career over the years and, after long hard conversations, I've finally decided to walk away."In another tweet he added: "See you all on the other side you big dossers 2008-2022"

Fury's UK promoter, Frank Warren, has been very optimistic that he will come back."I speak to him all the time. If he wants to fight, he'll fight. I'm not going to tempt him. Because if he needs that then he shouldn't be fighting." "Do I think we'll see Tyson in a ring? I do because I think he's a fighting man and I think he'll miss it too much." "The fans love him. He's got a real rapport with the man on the street" "He's a different class. And he'll do what he wants to do."
