Congratulations are in order for Ivory-Coast born footballer Wilfried Zaha and his wife Paige, who recently welcomed their baby girl Zuri Zaha.

Zaha moved to the UK at the age of 4 and was raised in the Croydon area of South London. He was scouted by Crystal Palace Eagles Academy at just 12 and has since enjoyed a very successful career at clubs including Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Cardiff F.C. He currently plays for the US Major League Soccer club Charlotte F.C on loan from Süper Lig club Galatasaray, and the Ivory Coast national team.

In June 2023, Zaha shared pictures alongside his friends at his stag do, whilst wearing a t-shirt that read "Game Over" and had an illustration of husband and wife, with a ball and chain. The following month, he proved to fans that he was a winner both on and off the pitch, when just days after turning down a £200,000-per-week contract and leaving Crystal Palace he tied the knot with his partner Paige Bannister - a year after their Valentine’s Day engagement. Zaha’s business partner and fellow Croydon native, rapper Stormzy, was in attendance at the lavish and intimate wedding.

Zaha’s oldest son Leo, who celebrated his 8th birthday in July 2024, was fathered before his marriage to Paige. In July 2020, the pair announced on social media that they were expecting their first child together. Alongside a sonogram picture, she wrote:

Paige later announced the arrival of Zaha’s second child, another healthy baby boy alongside the caption:

“And suddenly you were our everything Saint Laurence Zaha we are so in love with you”.

Zaha added:

“My little king is finally here”.

In August 2024, the then 4 year old was pictured holding a sonogram picture in the announcement post of his new baby sibling, which Zaha captioned:

“New addition to the Zaha family

Glory to the most high”.

Zaha’s recent transcontinental transfer and relocation to North Carolina, USA, was recently interrupted by yet another wonderful addition to his growing family. The striker missed out on Charlotte’s season-opening, which resulted in a 2-2 draw at Seattle Sounders FC last weekend to be in London with his wife for the arrival of their daughter. He recently revealed that he does not “even have a house yet” in his new city Charlotte as he has no doubt been preoccupied in London with his blossoming family.

Yesterday, the star announced the birth of his first daughter, sharing an Instagram post of the newborn in a pink bow-covered onesie, alongside the caption:

“My princess is finally here Zuri Zaha”.

‍

His wife echoed the announcement, sharing the same picture alongside the caption “Zuri Zaha” with a pink heart emoji. Despite the footballer turned family man having to jet back to the US for an upcoming game, the pair appear to be very happy in their baby bubble.
