A man was murdered after two women allegedly drugged him in his flat with the sedative GHB, a court heard.Saul Murray died in late February earlier this year. Luton Crown Court found that the women had initially got in contact with Saul after he posted pictures of himself on Instagram wearing two Rolex watches. The two women met the victim outside of his flat and shared brandy with him inside. They then gave him GHB in order "to knock him out". He was subsequently stabbed to death by two men who were accomplices of the women.

Jane Bickerstaff KC, said that the four defendants had driven from London to Luton in order to carry out this heinous and pre planned crime.

"They went to steal items from Mr Murray that they believed were of high value," "They agreed to use force and threats and agreed to the use of a sedative substance," she said.

The jury were told Ms Dhillon messaged Mr Murray through Instagram on the 9th of February, before they continued to message on WhatsApp.

Ms Bickerstaff said Ms Dhillon and her accomplice, Temidayo Awe both met the victim outside of his flat in Luton, and went on to share alcohol with him and laced it with GHB "to knock him out". They both admitted that some sexual activity also took place.

The pair also had two male accomplices, going by the names of Ikem Affia and Cleon Brown, who drove a rented Mercedes A-class to a local McDonald's, before they joined the women at the flat.

The prosecution said that the men were only in the flat for 20 mins, and during that time they were inside Mr Murray was fatally injured.

The court was told CCTV showed all four of the defendants leaving the flat, with Mr Affia holding a large knife in his right hand as he exited.

Ms Bickerstaff said that Mr Murray appeared at the door of his flat and was seen "hobbling and completely naked" before he "opens the communal door and falls over and dies".

The trial is still currently underway and the defendants have plead not guilty to all counts.
