Nigerian Afrobeats artist Davido has gone all out on a stunning new chain and pendant in honour of his late son, who tragically passed away in 2022.

Ifeanyi Adeleke, whom Davido shares with partner Chioma Rowland, accidentally drowned in 2022, just days after his third birthday. According to TMZ, the piece was created by celebrity jeweller, Gabriel Jacobs, and given to Davido earlier this week.

The pendant depicts a detailed portrayal of his son wearing a dazzling crown of flowers.

The piece is said to contain a generous 8,000 gemstones in total, including brown, champagne, and black diamonds for the body. The flower crown also consists of more diamonds, citrine, topaz, and opal, which are said to be the Ifeanyi's birthstones.

Overall, the entire piece weighs an impressive 60 carats, and set the singer back $250,000.

Sadly the Nigerian singer Davido's son Ifeanyi Davido passed away on November 1, his death was said to be a drowning in a pool at the family’s home in Lagos, Nigeria, the pop star, whose real name is David Adeleke, and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, were not home when the horrifying ordeal took place.
