DIGGA D SENTENCED TO NEARLY FOUR YEARS IN PRISON FOR DRUG SUPPLY OFFENCES

Drill rapper Digga D, real name Rhys Herbert, has been sentenced to three years and 11 months in prison for supplying at least 50 kilos of cannabis.

The Recorder of Lincoln, Judge Simon Hirst, delivered his ruling following a Newton hearing, determining that Herbert and his friends consumed approximately 28 grams of cannabis per week. However, this only accounted for around five kilos of the total quantity, with the remaining 45 kilos believed to have been sold.

During sentencing, the court heard that Herbert’s mother stated her son had “reflected” on his crimes while in prison and now reads his Bible daily. However, DC Jacob Saville submitted a report revealing that Herbert had 17 proven adjudications in custody, including possession of drugs and mobile phones.

Judge Hirst ultimately sentenced the rapper to three years and 11 months, with half of the term to be served in custody. Since Herbert has already spent 11 months in prison following his February 2024 arrest – which was livestreamed on Instagram – he is expected to be released around December 2025 or January 2026.
