Love Island fans were treated to an evening of high drama as the reality show's notorious movie night made a surprise early return, followed by an unexpected dumping. Last night's episode thrilled viewers when a text announcing a 'Film Festival' arrived right after the conclusion of Casa Amor.

Jessy received a text and read out to islanders: "Islanders, it's time to get red carpet ready as tonight you'll take front row seats to the Love Island Film Festival. #UnreelRevelations #SceneItToBelieveIt,"

This year, the Islanders didn't need to answer quiz questions to view the revealing clips. Instead, they watched each video directly, exposing sneaky comments and actions from the Casa Amor twist. As predicted, the footage led to chaos in the Villa, with some Islanders questioning their partners' loyalty while others stepped in to defend their friends.

Specifically, a whole heap of the drama was between two former and present couples, Ayo & Mimii, and also Uma & Wil, both ladies were shocked to see what their counterparts were up to whilst enjoying a 'lads getaway' in casa amor.

As the credits rolled, the drama intensified with a shock twist: the results of a viewer vote were announced, revealing the least compatible couple. Ellie and Trey, having received the fewest votes, were immediately dumped from the island.

On her departure, Ellie reflected, "It feels bittersweet. I do think my time was cut a little bit short, so it does feel sad but I had an amazing experience in there."

Trey shared similar sentiments, saying, "I feel amazing. It's been an unbelievable experience and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity."
