Influencer Mariam Musa, who is known for being a makeup, fashion, and lifestyle blogger/YouTuber has announced her pregnancy.

Musa, who gained fame competing in the reality TV show Survival Of The Fittest in 2018 has made a name for herself as both a reality tv star and a social media influencer. In 2020, the now 30-year-old became the First Black Female British Influencer To Launch A Solo Collection With A Leading Fast Fashion Brand, ISAWITFIRST. The Surrey grown beauty, cited being one of only a ‘few black girls’ in her East England school as a driving force for her mission to diversify the beauty standard and create beauty content.

The star has now revealed another ‘first’ for her thriving future, with the announcement of her pregnancy. Musa announced her pregnancy to her 646,000 Instagram followers, in a post which included a series of photos of her growing stomach cradled by her partner, along with the following message:

“ Reflecting on the past year, I am overwhelmed with happiness and gratitude as I have felt God's blessings in every moment. 

Today, I am thrilled to share that our journey includes a little blessing on the way. Having PCOS can't lie I always had a feeling it might not fully happen for me

 I stand here with a heart full of hope and joy, embracing this new chapter of motherhood with open arms. To my partner, my best friend da) you have been my rock and I know you will be an incredible father. I have loved every version of myself, but I am most excited for this new version as a mother. Here's to the new beginning and the love that already fills our hearts.

Little is known about Musa’s partner, who features in the announcement posts without his face being revealed. In the announcement, Musa also referenced her journey with Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) which she has been vocal about and how that has complicated things for her!
