In a collaboration with Wave magazine, some familiar faces made an appearance in a very wholesome photoshoot. The first U.K. icon to feature in the latest issue of Wave magazine was rapper Krept (Casyo Johnson) of rap duo Krept and Konan.
Krept appeared with his 3-year-old daughter Nala, who he shares with model Sasha Ellese. Krept is never shy when it comes to praising his adorable little one, often calling her a “daddy’s girl”.
Nala also has her very own Instagram account, which documents her adventures in the life of a celebrity child. Her Instagram also promotes her self titled brand, Nala’s Baby, which was launched by parents Krept and Sasha on June 20 2022. The brand is clearly a hit among parents, with its products selling out within minutes of the brand’s launch. Nala’s Baby also won a “Mother And Baby” award earlier in the year, indicating that their empire is only just getting started.
Slawn posed for the camera with his baby boy, who is aptly named Beau. Nevertheless, Slawn brushed the incident off, reminding everyone this was simply his humour, as well as letting critics know “it costs nothing to be self-aware,” Expressing his gratitude to the magazine, Olaolu Slawn said: “thank u 4 letting me n Beau be me n beau, no extra terrestrial sh*t, just father and son, and swag.”
Lastly, the magazine welcomed U.K. rap OG Giggs (Nathaniel Thompson), who stood by his talented rapper son, ML. Giggs’ teenage mini-me, ML, is the spitting image of his father, even following in his artistic footsteps and pursuing rap.
His Instagram account has just under 12k follows, which is sure to help him in promoting his music career. It is rare that we see the vulnerable side to rappers, which makes this magazine shoot all the more endearing.
Wave magazine stated: “Thinking of the theme for this issue, celebration became the focus. To combat the hyper-critical world we sometimes experience, we wanted to encourage the creatives featured in issue 007 to celebrate themselves, their achievements and those around them who've contributed to their success!”
