KYLE WALKER'S WIFE ANNIE KILNER FILES FOR DIVORCE AS THEY PREPARE TO BATTLE FOR £27M FORTUNE

Kyle Walker's wife Annie Kilner has filed for divorce. The 31-year-old mother-of-four has instructed her lawyers to begin legal proceedings as she prepares to fight for half of the Manchester City defender's £27million fortune. The 34-year-old footballer earns an estimated £175,000 a week. He is reportedly still living with Kilner, but sleeping separately from her in a room on the third floor of the house.

The childhood sweethearts separated last December after Walker was revealed to have fathered a second child with model Lauryn Goodman. The model reportedly texted Kilner with a text message to reveal the news, writing: "Hey it's Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter." Kilner was pregnant at the time with Walker's fourth son. Walker first fathered a child with Lauryn during a break in his relationship with Annie in 2020. Walker admitted his infidelity to the The Sun at the time saying: "What I've done is horrible and I take full responsibility. I made idiot choices and idiot decisions."

In July, Walker was praised by a judge for being "sensible, honest and reliable" during a court battle with Goodman over child maintenance payments. Walker appeared at the Central Family Court in London as he fought with Goodman over the amount of money he should pay to support daughter Kinara, who is now aged one. The court heard that Goodman began her legal claim just two days after Kinara's birth. Goodman requested the court that Walker pay £14,750 a month in child maintenance for the pair's two children, as well thousands for cars, property maintenance and nursery fees.

Walker opposed some of the demands, telling the court that he was not an "open chequebook." In his ruling, Judge Edward Hess dismissed many of Goodman's demands. Her demands included a car worth up to £70,000 every three years and air conditioning costing around £33,000.
