Lewis Hamilton, Formula one champion racing driver, shocked fans on Instagram yesterday evening when he shared a remarkable story from his youth.

Hamilton came through with some evening motivation when he detailed the time he had to drive one-handed when he was fifteen yet still resulting in him winning the European Formula A championship.

According to Lewis, his teenage self had been riding his bike one day when he fell and injured his wrist. When he visited the hospital the next day, he discovered that his wrist was broken.This news "terrified" Hamilton as he realised that this meant that he would not be able to compete in the upcoming competition and he was afraid he would lose his McLaren contract as a result.Instead of facing this, Lewis Hamilton decided to race the championship with one-hand, and won!He concluded:"I've known since then that I can overcome anything when I fight for it."
