Mason Greenwood and his partner, Harriet Robson, have welcomed the birth of their second child after relocating to Marseille following his departure from Manchester United. The couple recently had their second daughter.

Greenwood had previously announced the birth of their first child, Summer, in July 2023. On Wednesday, the footballer shared a heartfelt moment on social media, posting a picture of Harriet holding Summer at a Marseille match. Both Harriet and Summer were seen wearing jerseys with Greenwood’s name and the No. 10 on the back.

He captioned the post: "Happy birthday to the best partner and mum—we love you." Greenwood joined Marseille in a £30 million move last summer, scoring 14 goals in 23 appearances for the French side.

Greenwood parted ways with Manchester United after his arrest in January 2022, when he was charged with attempted rape, assault, and controlling and coercive behavior. However, the Crown Prosecution Service later dropped all charges due to the "withdrawal of key witnesses and new material coming to light." Greenwood started his footballing journey at United’s academy and made 129 appearances and scored 35 goals for the first team before spending last season on loan at Getafe. He played in Spain, netting 10 goals and providing six assists, earning the club’s Player of the Season award.

His transfer to Marseille initially sparked backlash from some fans, who launched a #GreenwoodNotWelcome campaign. However, once the move was finalized, he received a warm reception and has since established himself as a key player for the club.
