London-Based Rapper Hypo Passes Away After Being Stabbed at a Party
London-based rapper Hypo, who is the ex-partner of singer Emeli Sande, has passed away after being stabbed at a Platinum Jubilee party on the 3rd of June.The rapper, who was in his 30s, had filmed himself arriving at an event in Redbridge just hours before he passed away.
He posted the video to his social media accounts.Hypo had been stabbed just after midnight on June 3rd, at Ashton Town Playing Fields, in Chigwell Road, Woodford Green. Metropolitan Police believe that other party attendees had filmed the tragic incident on their mobile phones and that the footage could be used as evidence.Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith said:
"This man was attacked at a party and we know that a large number of people would have been in attendance. I would urge anyone who is yet to speak with us to come forward and let us know what you saw. It is possible that events leading up to the stabbing, and perhaps the murder itself, were captured on people's phones. Please take a look and call us. It is vital that we establish what happened."Several fans commented their condolences on his latest Instagram post, with one fan saying: "Rest up bro."Another commented: "Gone too soon. A real East London legend. RIP Hypo, you will be missed."
Currently no arrests have been made and police are still searching for a suspect. The Met Police continue to appeal for anyone who attended the party to come forward with information.
