LOVE ISLAND FINALIST POWER COUPLE SHAQ AND TANYA ANNOUNCE THEIR BREAKUP

Season 9 Love Island favourites Shaq Muhammed and Tanya Manhenga have taken to social media to announce that their relationship has come to an end, as fans have long speculated whether the pair were no longer an item.

In identical statements posted to their Instagram stories, the estranged couple claimed they had gone their separate ways and thanked fans for their support.

The season 9 Love Island finalists are best known for their tumultuous relationship in the Love Island villa which saw arguments, jealousy, and a massive twist in the infamous Casa Amor, where Tanya returned recoupled with Martin Akinola.

Despite Tanya's shocking recoupling leaving Shaq single in the villa, she managed to win him back with a slightly controversial and VERY public speech declaring her love for Shaq.

Nearly two years on, we have fallen in love with the couple as they charmed their followers with their impressive Amapiano dance routines and unwavering PDA.

However, over the last couple of months, fans have been speculating whether the couple were still an item or if they had parted ways.

This seems to be linked to the TV stars unfollowing each other on social media and deleting their loved-up pictures of one another.

Some rumours even began to circulate alleging that Shaq had cheated on Tanya during a trip to Miami, Florida.

Nonetheless, the newly single influencers did not specify the reason behind their breakup.

Their identical statements read: "Hi guys, Just want to say unfortunately me and Shaq/Tanya are no longer together and have parted ways. We wish each other the best and can't thank you enough for loving us together until now. Thank you!"
