Miss R Fabulous has confirmed that she has broken up with Choppa Wayne, while he argues they were never even together.

Yesterday, rumours started circulating the web that Miss R Fabulous (Renee) had broken up with her dancehall artist boyfriend Choppa Wayne during her trip to Jamaica.

The pair had unfollowed each other on Instagram and footage of Renee crying about the situation, during an Instagram Live session, was shared across TikTok.

Today, Renee confirmed the news that the breakup had occurred, through a series of posts on her Instagram feed and story.

She alleges that Wayne “faked a whole relationship”, “manipulated”, and “groomed” her in an effort to profit off her success. She claimed that Wayne had stolen £5,000, an Apple MacBook, and an iPhone from her.

Renee discussed her great surprise in discovering that Wayne was living with his girlfriend and her mother, both of whom she believes planned to “ruin” her.

“All along he lived with his woman and her family and mother. He made it out as if she was his cousin and the mother was his aunty. They was all in on it. This was planned and targeted. He took everything from me and left me with nothing.” – Miss R Fabulous

However, in a series of post-and-deletes, Choppa Wayne claimed that he was never in a relationship with Renee (“People mi and dis girl neva dea”) and that he had simply been asked by her to do a “fake YouTube relationship” with her.

He continued by stating that Renee had fallen in love with him during the course of their ‘fake’ relationship and that he didn’t want anything to do with her anymore. Wayne subsequently deleted his Instagram stories and account.

“One time mi ago talk bout dis! Me and Renee neva was together Renee ask to do a fake YouTube relationship with her and is dat mi do And she fall in love wid me! AND ME DONT WANT DEA WID HER INA REAL LIFE SO SHE VEX NOW! Big P*ssy mad gyal renne stop call up mi name.”

Miss R Fabulous would later come back onto her socials to explain that she felt her life was threatened in Jamaica and that she needed to get back as soon as possible.

“I’ve always been the one to say live my truth, right. So, I have some truth to tell. If I die in Jamaica you’re going to know why.”

She went on to discuss that she hasn’t eaten in two days and that there are two sides to every story. The social influencer appeared to be in distress as she talked about how all she ever wanted was “someone to love and appreciate” her.
