N-Dubz members Dappy and Fazer, formally known as Costadinos Contostavlos and Richard Rawson respectively share how the pair were victim to police brutality whilst on holiday in Spain.
The pair were seen with fellow musician and personality, Yung Filly and a group of onlookers, debuting their new single ’The Ick’ when the police approached their vehicle. The group seemed to be enjoying themselves when the police siren began.
In a video clip the rapper posted on his Instagram, Spanish police officers can be seen beating the pair with their batons, striking some individuals in the crowd and shouting for them to leave.
The pair are then seen quickly entering their luxurious car and speeding away, captured in another video where a police officer is seen striking the back of the vehicle with a baton and seemingly calling Fazer from N-Dubz the n-word.
The N-Dubz singers then shared two photographs showing marks on the backs of the two friends’ backs, which the police officers allegedly left.
It is unclear as to what caused the confrontation but the N-Dubz duo remain consistent that they did nothing to provoke the situation.
Dappy, a member of the North West London-based group, is joined by his cousin Tulisa Contostavlos and Richard “Fazer” Rawson.
The trio was formed in 2000, the group decided to take a “hiatus” in 2011 to concentrate on their careers. However, they recently reunited in May 2022 and going on a reunion tour around the UK and have now begun working on new music.
