Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton is making a bold move into the beauty industry, announcing its first-ever makeup line set to launch in fall 2025. At the helm of this exciting venture is none other than British makeup icon Dame Pat McGrath, who has been appointed as the brand’s creative director of makeup.

McGrath, renowned for her visionary work and collaborations with top designers, including Louis Vuitton, brings decades of expertise to the role. A trailblazer in the industry, she was honoured with a MBE in 2014 and later made history in 2021 as the first makeup artist to receive the title of “Dame” from Queen Elizabeth II. In 2015, she launched her own globally successful brand, Pat McGrath Labs, which has become synonymous with innovation and artistry in beauty.

Louis Vuitton’s debut beauty collection, La Beauté Louis Vuitton, will feature 55 lipsticks, 10 lip balms, and eight eyeshadow palettes, reflecting the brand’s dedication to luxury and craftsmanship. The collection will be available in 116 Louis Vuitton stores worldwide and online, with additional beauty launches expected to follow.
