UK rapper Headie One and his manager were arrested yesterday evening while they were on a tour bus in Leeds.

Headie One had been on his Edna Live - The Tour to support his debut album, Edna, which was named in honour of his late mother. He was due to play a show at the O2 Academy Leeds for his UK tour and on his way, heavily armed police officers had halted the tour bus on Cookridge Street.

Headie One and his manager had been on Instagram Live during the incident. The video footage from Instagram Live shows police officers and dog handlers ordering Headie One and his manager to leave the tour bus. The officers detained them for a search.

In the Livestream, the rapper can be heard saying that the police have "ambushed" the vehicle with his manager being led away in handcuffs. The police officers tell them to leave the phone where it is and the live ends.

The Leeds show had not been officially cancelled with fans left waiting for him in the queue. The O2 Academy Leeds has not issued an official statement regarding the incident as of yet. However, the website page about Headie One's Leeds gig displays an error.

It is unclear what the reason for the arrest was.
