Olu Tunde Finni, who performs as 'Tunde', is on trial alongside four other men who are all accused of planning a shooting at a property in Moorton Avenue, Burnage.Mr Finni and the co-accused have all pleaded not guilty. Manchester Crown Court heard that the gunman had fired two shots at a local house before the firearm began to jam.No one was hurt, the couple who lived in the house was fast asleep in bed.

Prosecutors allege that the shooting was committed in an act of 'retaliation' after the windows of a car belonging to Mr Finni's ex-girlfriend were 'bricked' by a group of men from the area of Wythenshawe. The jury heard that the shooting took place about an hour after the car window was bricked, at around midnight on September 27, 2020."It is the prosecution case that Mr Finni, after learning that his ex-girlfriend's vehicle had been targeted, arranged for the firearm to be retrieved and for someone to attend at Moorton Avenue and discharge it towards the address," prosecutor Jonathon Rogers said.

Mr Finni is on trial after being accused of conspiring to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.Prosecutors claim DNA evidence links Mr Finni to a bullet casing found on the ground of the crime scene, and a live bullet which had also been left at the scene after the gun jammed. Mr Finni denies his involvement and said that his DNA could have been left on the bullet casings through the 'innocent transfer' of bullets.Mr Finni has further denied possessing ammunition without a firearm certificate, while the trial continues.
