TOWIE star and ex-boyfriend of Lauren Goodger,Jake McLean has tragically died in a car accident which also left his partner Yazmin Oukhellou seriously injured.
Jake, who was 33 at the time, was understood to have been driving in Bodrum, Turkey on Sunday as his car crashed over a hill before Turkish emergency services rushed to try save him.
Yazmin who is 28, is known and famous for her appearances on ITV series The Only Way Is Essex, is believed to be recovering in hospital after suffering extremely serious injuries to both her arms.
MailOnline were told by a source: 'It's a complete tragedy and a total loss of life. Everyone is in shock and hoping Yazmin makes a full recovery.'
Some of Lauren's closest friends also told news source MailOnline that the pregnant mother of one has been left 'devastated' by Jake's unexpected passing.
Another source told newspaper The Sun: 'Apparently Jake was driving when he lost control of the car and it went off a cliff.'
A report by the Sun alleges that Jake was in Turkey for a business deal, and Yazmin had joined him in the tourist resort of Bodrum in recent days.
Some sources further told the publication that Yazmin has suffered 'extremely serious' damage to her arms in the crash.
