Woman Bashes Window of prince Andrew's Car in Royal Security Breach
The woman was pictured bashing on the window of Prince Andrew's Range Rover at Windsor Great Park (17 December).

An unidentified woman bashed on prince Andrew's car window as he drove to Windsor castle earlier on Friday.

The female who is yet to be named was able to get close to the prince who was driving his black Range Rover as he approached the royal residence.

It is reported that the Duke of York had set off for a morning drive at Windsor Great Park and slowed long enough for the woman who was dressed in all black, to bang on the window as he drove by.

Looking shocked and a little surprised by the woman's behaviour, he continued his journey as he tried to escape getting noticed.

It is still unknown why the woman took that action and police are still investigating the incident.

Police were spotted speaking to the woman alongside the castle's security possibly trying to know why she had confronted him and took the action.

Earlier on, the woman had been seen standing alone with a yellow umbrella in hand before Prince Andrew drove past.

Waiting members of the media were seen quizzing the woman on the incident after police eventually turned up.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson told the mirror that police were called to Albert Road, Windsor at around 10 am.

Their statement read: "A 50-year-old woman, of no fixed abode, has been arrested on suspicion of using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour to caused harassment/alarm/distress.

"She remains in custody."

At the moment it is still unknown why she was in the area.

The price has been laying low?

Prince Andrew has been lying low since allegations emerged about his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein.

British police were looking into claims from Virginia Giuffre, who alleges she was trafficked to London by disgraced billionaire and paedophile Jeffrey Epstein to have sex with the Duke of York when she was 17 years old. Prince Andrew has denied the claims.

In October, Scotland Yard dropped their investigation into Prince Andrew. In response, Ms Giuffre launched a civil lawsuit in New York against Prince Andrew.

However, reports have emerged that the Duke's team plans to have the case thrown out on a technicality. According to Prince Andrew's solicitor, Gary Bloxsome, a document that was signed in 2009 makes the action invalid.

Prince Andrew has since stepped back from public duty over the allegations.
