The rep did not provide many further details, but it has also been revealed that Cardi is seeking primary custody of their children, indicating she is serious about this decision.

An insider familiar with the situation disclosed that the decision was not driven by the latest cheating rumours surrounding Offset. "They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else," the source claimed. "This is something she wants to do."

Since their marriage began, there have been persistent rumours of Offset’s alleged infidelities. This week, the Migos rapper denied the most recent cheating allegations after being seen publicly with a woman he reportedly dated in the past. Despite these denials, it seems the couple's issues run deeper.

Cardi, 31, and Offset, 32, share two young children, a daughter, Kulture, 5, and a son, Wave, 2. A source emphasised that Cardi’s main priority is "obtaining primary custody" of their children. Additionally, there has been speculation that Cardi might be expecting a third child, although she has not publicly confirmed or addressed these rumours.
