This comes in the aftermath of being snubbed at the GRM gala that took place recently.

“1 man army. Never been an industry plant. I rely on you guys to support and push my projects”, he wrote on his insta story.

The 23 year old, in a seemingly frustrated tone, went on to reveal that he unfollowed “most of these rappers and blog pages”.

“Before I beg for a seat at yours, I’ll build my own table”, he added.

In the following post on his story, he paused the question, “How come I never got invited to the GRM gala?” expressing his disappointment for being snubbed at the UK's largest gathering of black entertainer and social influencers.

Digga D who has had multiple run in with the law was placed under a criminal behaviour order (CBO) restricting not only where he could go and who he could meet, but what he could mention in his lyrics, and even required him to submit those lyrics to the police within 24 hours of releasing them in song.

In 2021, the rapper spent another stint in prison for violating terms of his CBO where he was stabbed in the eye. 

It is unclear why Digga D wasn’t invited to the GRM gala but some feel it could be due to all the misconduct and violent behaviour displayed by the young rapper over the past few years.

Nonetheless, with all that has happened, Digga presses on with his music and is set to make a new release later on this summer.
