The Reality TV star became a millionaire at 21 through appearances on shows such as The X Factor: Celebrity and Dancing on Ice as well as smart investments in property and cryptocurrency.
However, the new musician has expressed how he now holds little value to material things, showcasing this by gifting his brand new "145K Mercedes to his dad and brother, just seven months after showing off the flashy car on his Instagram account.
According to Wes:
"The more you have, the more money you probably make. They come hand in hand, but at the same time it sucks. You don't want more, it just comes with doing more."
He further reveals how he has experienced a growing form of anxiety as a result of making large amounts of money and has decided to no longer focus on having expensive items.
"I think being around nice things and stuff you just realise how empty they are."
He recalls the moment he lost a very expensive unnamed item by describing his reaction as underwhelmed:
"I can remember just feeling afterwards, I feel like I haven't really lost anything.
"As shi*ty as that sounds, it just doesn't mean anything. I've got so much more pleasure from just helping people and going out and doing good things. It just fulfils me."
He emphasises that although he is still making a lot of money, so much so that him and his children never have to work again, he now holds very little value to expensive items.
