Former Real Madrid defender Vinicius Tobias has gone viral after tattooing the name of who he thought was his newborn daughter on his arm, only for his ex-girlfriend to reveal the baby is not his. On October 8, Ingrid Lima welcomed daughter Maite into the world with Tobias by her side. The pair had already split but Tobias was reportedly determined to be his child's life.

Soon after, he decided to get Maite's name tattooed on his arm in - with the name meaning "love" or "beloved" in Portuguese. He got the tattoo along with "te amo" which also means "I love you" in Portuguese. But his influencer ex-girlfriend shocked fans when she took to Instagram to tell her 103,000 followers that Tobias is not the father of her daughter.

Ingrid Lima revealed that after breaking up with Tobias some time ago, she got involved with another man. She then took a paternity test which made it known that Maite was not Tobias' daughter. "I came to give a statement about something that is getting annoying and that, unfortunately, I would have to come out on publicly to give you an explanation," said Lima. "Vinicius and I haven't been together for a while. During that time, I was in a relationship with someone and so was he. We both moved on with our lives."

A talented footballer, Tobias signed for Real Madrid's academy at just 20 year old. He played for SC Internacional for six years before making his debut this season for Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar Donetsk..
