Following a tweet by Adeola Patronne addressed at her now "former close friend", Annie Drea, expressing frustration over her ghosting, Annie has finally come out to respond.
In a tweet posted last week, Adeola seemed to hit at Annie's ghosting. She wrote: "people need to stop thinking ghosting close friends for months without communicating you need space is normal".
"...Or you can just slip right back into people's lives. Do you know how much can change within that time", she asked, adding that she doesn't "fuck with that stuff".
Responding to the tweet, Annie said that she was going through a lot at the time and needed to take some time off.
"Ghosting isn't really something that I do but in that period, in that time, it wasn't intentional. Like, family stuff happened, other stuff happened", she said - adding that she was glad she did it.
The YouTuber went on to explain that she was in a much better place now and that she didn't regret taking some time alone.
She also stressed that she is never out to hurt her friends but rather needs grace in her friendships as she can be misunderstood sometimes.
Although, there was no direct mention of Adeola in the tweet.
