Sean and Matilda, one of the standout couples from Love Island 2024, have confirmed that they are no longer together, just a month after the live final. Taking to their Instagram Stories on 28th August 2024, the pair shared the news with their fans.

Sean's statement expressed gratitude for the time they spent together and highlighted that they had parted ways on good terms. He noted, "We are good friends & I'm so grateful to have shared such an incredible experience with her." He also thanked fans for their support throughout their relationship.

Matilda echoed Sean’s sentiments in her own post, stating that they are still good friends and grateful for the experience they shared. She too thanked fans for their love and support.

Sean entered the Love Island villa from day one and quickly became a favourite. Matilda made her entrance later as a bombshell, and the two connected before Casa Amor. Despite Sean’s brief connections with other contestants, such as Diamanté and Ruby, he remained loyal to Matilda, leading them to a fourth-place finish in the final.

Their split marks another chapter in the Love Island journey, with both Sean and Matilda now focusing on their individual paths outside the villa.
