Influencer Rebecca Vieira has taken to Instagram to issue a public apology to her husband Marcel Somerville after news recently broke of her shocking affair with US rapper Slim Jxmmi.

Vieira was outed publicly online by the mother of Slim Jxmmi's child, Kiara Danielson, after she discovered the intimate iMessage exchanges between Rebecca and Jxmmi.

Just a day after the news of their affair erupted, it was alleged that Marcel had abruptly moved out of their marital home feeling "absolutely devastated" by the cheating scandal and describing the situation as a "living nightmare".

Rebecca's apology read: "By now most of you would have seen what's going on, I've made a huge mistake, Ive embarrassed not only my husband but myself and both our families.

My actions were foolish & have hurt so many people around us but most importantly my husband. Ive said a lot of things that I shouldn't have and it was stupid of me so I won't sit here and justify my actions, those decisions should have never been made.

I want to publicly apologise to my marcel, just as loudly as the rest of the noise. For all the hurt, embarrassment & pain i have put him through, there is nothing and no-one in the world that comes before you and our family. No-one who could ever compare, i love you beyond measure, with no doubts, with no question. you are my beginning and my end, my forever love. i love you."

Rebecca also posted a video montage of herself and Marcel followed by the caption "you.. irrevocably you, undoubtedly you, until my last breath"
