Former Love Island Star, Amber Rose Gill has shared her experience of being harassed by men at night and shared some further thoughts about how men should be treating women

She opened up about an experience of her recently walking home at night, where she spoke about being "annoyed" at a group of guys who were allegedly calling her name, which she ignored.The encounter took place 3AM according to the reality star, and even when she went further down the road she was still being called with the men in question allegedly saying "excuse me miss" to which she also ignored.She went on to ask her followers to consider what would have happened if they was not happy with her response and reacted with violence.

This sheds light on the many women who are assaulted on the streets, especially late at night.After this, she offered advice to men and said that if a woman is walking alone, they need to leave them alone and shouldn't feel entitled to speak to them. She added that even if a women if there friends, they should still give the woman privacy and space.One resident in the Borough said: "This is one of the reasons why I started taking self defence classes, working on my strength and carrying a rape alarm. Your safety is so important. It's a shame to have to feel the need to do all these things to feel safe at night"
