Rapper, Bugzy Malone is now facing two counts of GBH after he allegedly punched two men
One of the men in question, a father, claimed that he knew that his jaw was broken straight after the alleged punch.Bugzy Malone, real name Aaron Davies, is now facing two grevious bodily harm charges after the alleged attack on two men. However, he strongly denies the claims.Prosecutors have said that Bugzy Malone mistakenly identified the two men for people who had invaded his home, which led to his alleged attack.
It is also claimed that he kicked one of the heads of the two men in question 'like he was kicking a football'. The two alleged victims knew eachother and are friends, and attended the World Black Pudding Throwing Championships with their family. Some of the children left the festival to allegedly visit Bugzy Malone's home, and it is claimed that a car was driven at them shortly after doing so.
One of these children was the daughter of someone at the festival, and his daughter contacted him sounding "terrified". This led to the man visiting Bugzy's home to find out what happened. When they arrived, Bugzy was not home. However, his mother called the police and his girlfriend contacted him directly. They allegedly tried to walk away, but was stopped by a neighbour of the rapper. After this, Bugzy allegedgly appeared and punched one of the men to the floor. The man was asked to describe the punch to the prosecutor, and said it was "very, very hard."
"My head hit the side of the van and I was stumbling a bit after that," he said.
Gordon Cole QC, defending Mr Davies, responded: "We accept he did punch you but when he punched you it was all happening very quickly and as you turned in his direction you had your fists clenched."The man also claimed that the punch led to surgery at the hospital, which required three plates being inserted into his fractured jaw.The trial is currently ongoing.
