Love Island 2021: Rachel Finni Doesn't Believe Any Boy in The Villa is Genuinely Attracted To Black Women

After being savagely dumped from the Villa earlier this month, Love Island Star; Rachel Finni has finally come out to address the diversity criticism at Love Island.

Finni addressed the matter in a Q&A session on her Instagram after she was asked by a fan: "Do you feel like any of the guys have a genuine attraction to Black girls?"

In an emotional video response, the 29 year old responded: "The boys in there currently, no. I don't think any of them did. It'`s such a hard topic to discuss really, this one, but no."

When Rachel entered the Villa, she was made to choose between Brad McClelland and Chuggs Wallis to couple up with. She ended up picking Brad but he dropped her almost immediately to pursue Lucinda Strafford instead.

Although Brad had initially said she was her type, he later changed up on her; revealing on Capital Xtra on Tuesday that he had just said that to stay in the Villa.

However, for viewers especially those of colour, Brad's actions revealed a huge problem with the show; a lack of options for black women - who often fail to find connections or get picked during the first coupling.

So far the only black couple to ever find a connection on the series were Priscilla Anyabu and Mike Boateng from the 2020 winter series.

ITV is yet to address the diversity problem at the show - which often comes up from time to time.

However, as more and more black women get frustrated with the show's lack of diversity, the broadcaster will have to act fast or face the potential consequence of falling behind the times.
