Stefflon Don took to Twitter to share her opinion about the Astroworld Tragedy, criticising Travis Scott for not stopping the show. The incident caused the deaths of 8 people and also left many injured.
In the tweet she said: "As an artist, a mother and a human being I am so upset with Travis Scott," she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "He saw an ambulance in the crowd while people were screaming for help saying 'people are dying' which he clearly heard but still continued to perform. Allot [sic] of kids died because of negligence."
However, she deleted the tweet shortly after posting it. Athough many fans agreed with her statement, she posted another tweet saying: "I deleted it because I hate this whole 'cancel' thing I do not want no parts of it. I am all for calling someone out and holding them accountable but this new internet wants everyone to just disappear and die after a mistake. It's 2harsh, and unrealistic. Bring back conversations."
Travis, as well as other members of his team, were hit with a lawsuit after the event. Live Nation has not yet commented on the situation, however they did say that they are: "working to provide as much information and assistance as possible to the local authorities as they investigate".
This is not the first time that Travis had an issue like this, as he was arrested for inciting the crowd to break onto the stage back in 2017.
